Port Authority to redirect $1.8B in tunnel funds to North Jersey: "The Port Authority agreed on Tuesday to redirect $1.8 billion it had planned to spend on the cancelled ARC Tunnel to four major road repair projects in northern New Jersey.

The plan calls for the Port Authority to pay $1.8 billion for upgrades to the Pulaski Skyway, the Wittpenn Bridge on Route 7 in Kearny, Route 139 and the Portway New Road in Jersey City."
