The lowest bidder for the Route 3 Passaic River Crossing was J.F. Creamer & Son in joint venture with Joseph Sanzari with a bid price of $148,679,774. J H Reid General Contractor was the second lowest bidder with a bid price of $163,569,000.
The project involves the replacement of the bridge over Passaic River including roadway safety improvements in City of Clifton, Passaic County; Borough of Rutherford & Township of Lyndhurst, Bergen County; Bergen and Passaic Counties.The project is scheduled to be completed in October 2013.
